Water filter, flange, gate valves and pipeline fittings

Valves, flange, filter, gate valves and pipeline fittings

Pipeline fittings are used in construction, manufacturing, sanitary engineering, pipelines, etc.Depending on what function they will perform, the fittings are divided into several types: - Stop valve are designed to stop the stream of liquid, and its’ structural types are used only in the OPEN or CLOSED position. They are gate valves, ball valves, globe valves and other plugging devices. - Control valves are designed for regulating the flow rate of the liquid depending on the demands that are required. Various valves, pressure regulators, liquid level regulators, etc. are used for the regulation. - Stop and control valves include separate constructional types of the two previous types (gate valves, plug and control valves) and allow not only to close or open the flow of the liquid, but also to regulate its’ speed and pressure in the pipeline. - Distributive mixing fittings are designed for separating or mixing the liquid flow in the pipeline. There are three-way and multi-way distributive mixing fittings, which include distributing valves и faucets of different types. - Protecting and safety fittings are used for the protection of pipelines and hydraulic equipment from unforeseen circumstances, which include the critical pressure variations in the pipeline, temperature variations and solid particles in the liquid. Constructive types of these fittings include safety and pass valves, check and disconnecting valves, water filters, etc. As for constructive types of fittings, they include butterfly valves, ball valves, globe valves, etc.

Water filter

Water filter removes impurities from water by the fine physical barrier, a chemical or a biological process. Filters cleanse water to different extents for purposes like irrigation, drinking water, aquariums, ponds and swimming pools. Y-Strainers (water filter) are usually used in applications where the amount of solids that must be removed is small, and where frequent clean-out is not required.

Pipe Flanges

A flange is a method of connecting pipes, valves, pumps and other equipment to form a piping system. It also provides easy access for cleaning, inspection or modification. Flanges are usually welded or screwed. Flanged joints are made by bolting together two flanges with a gasket between them to provide a seal. A pipe flange is a disc, collar or ring that attaches to pipe for providing increased support for strength, blocking off a pipeline or implementing the attachment of more items. Pipe flanges are usually screwed to the pipe end and are connected with bolts. A gasket is inserted between the two mating flanges for providing a tighter seal. Pipe flanges are either custom with dimensions provided by the customer or they are manufactured according to published specifications. Several organizations and associations have published specifications that provide dimensional information as well as pressure specifications at different temperatures. Pipe flanges are manufactured in all the different materials like stainless steel, cast iron, aluminium, brass, bronze, plastic etc. but the most used material is forged carbon steel and have machined surfaces. In addition, flanges, like fittings and pipes, for specific purposes sometimes internally equipped with layers of materials of a completely different quality as the flanges themselves, which are "lined flanges". The material of a flange, is basically set during the choice of the pipe, in most cases, a flange is of the same material as the pipe.
